Meet Maureen
Parenting is a rewarding journey, but it is not without its challenges, especially when you feel the deck is stacked against your child. As a mother of four, I have experienced this firsthand. When one of our sons was in Grade 3, he was bright and social but could only read at a Senior Kindergarten level. Following the advice of an insightful teacher, we sought a private psycho-educational evaluation and discovered he had dyslexia.
Initially, the diagnosis felt like a life sentence that might limit his future. We spent a year trying various phonetic and computer-based programs without success. At one point, my son was ready to give up, but we were determined to find a solution. Eventually, we discovered the Davis Method.
The results were life-changing; he went from struggling – to the top of his class.
This experience inspired me to transition from my career as an entrepreneur to founding a business dedicated to helping children and adults overcome learning challenges. For over 19 years, I have had the joy of seeing intelligent, creative individuals realize their full potential…
